Else Grech
Else Grech’s passion and expertise are not just in accounting but in teaching accounting. She is presently an instructor at Toronto Metropolitan University's School of Accounting and Finance at the Ted Rogers School of Management as well as an instructor at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies. In 2017 I also became a Session Leader for CPA Ontario in their PEP program. This has provided her gain a much better understanding of what her students in their current university courses need to strive towards eventually obtaining their CPA designation. In her spare time, she teaches at the Peel Board of Education as a supply teacher in elementary and middle school (K-8).
Matthew Roman
Matthew Roman, CPA, MTax, is a Partner at KPMG LLP and a part-time instructor at The Chang School where he teaches courses in tax and accounting. Matthew's teaching style involves bridging the technical content with real-world applications and examples. He received the CPA Canada Gold Medal for achieving the highest standing in Ontario on the CPA Common Final Examination. He was also recognized as an Emerging Leader by the profession in 2020. Matthew previously worked on the development of the taxation module in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP), and he has been a long-time facilitator in the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program.
Dr. Oliver Okafor
Dr. Oliver Okafor is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Ted Rogers School of Management. He joined Toronto Metropolitan University in 2017, became the academic coordinator of the Professional Master’s Diploma (PMDip) in Accounting in 2021, and the director of the program in 2022. He also became the Academic Coordinator of Accounting programs at The Chang School in 2022. Oliver graduated with distinction from the Institute of Management and Technology in Enugu, Nigeria, and holds an MBA in Banking and Finance from the University of Nigeria. He further obtained a second MBA and an Accounting PhD from the University of Calgary. Oliver is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and UK Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA). Before joining Toronto Metropolitan University, Dr. Okafor worked in the banking, government, and education sectors. He worked for the First Bank of Nigeria Plc and the Royal Bank of Canada.
